Confused?   One of those days?   Pulling your hair out?

Well relax...     Because I may be able to help.  : )

Q.  Do you always work around theme lists, or do you create your own
stories and then try to find a market?   (from: Jill Smith)

A.  With the novellas I submit (excluding recent "group projects"), I
work with the current theme list the publisher has out. (To get a theme
list, contact the publisher you have in mind or check out their website.)
With my full-length novels, I create--then look for a market, as a
general rule.  But I *always* check the market guide (I use Sally
Stuart's Christian Writer's Market Guide) to make certain what I'm
sending is appropriate for the publisher I'm targeting.
